What is voice chat with friends?
This feature lets you talk out loud in real-time with your friends while you are playing together in a group. It makes it easier to team up, talk, and hang out.
What is chatting with fewer filters?
This is a text chat where the Roblox typing filter is less strict, meaning fewer of your words will be blocked or turned into hashtags (####). While it makes typing back and forth much smoother, some things—like links to other websites or words that break Roblox rules—will still be blocked.
Who can use these features?
Using voice chat with friends and chat with fewer filters depends on how old you are and if you are trusted friends.

Do Roblox rules still apply when chatting with fewer filters?
Yes. Even when chatting with fewer filters, you must still follow the Roblox Community Standards. This means you must:
- Treat others with respect, kindness, and consideration.
- Never use hurtful, abusive, or mean language (like hate speech, harassment, or threats).
- Never share inappropriate, illegal, or offensive words and images.
If you break these rules, Roblox may take action against your account, which could include suspending or permanently closing it.

Roblox cannot guarantee the privacy or safety of personal information shared in these chats, and doing so could expose you to risks.
