Game Shortcuts

Overview

Add a shortcut to your mobile device’s home screen or your computer’s desktop for easy access to your favorite games.

How to get started

Android

1. Visit the detail page for any game.
2. Tap the three dots (...) icon next to the Play button.
3. Tap Add to Home Screen and confirm.
4. Exit the Roblox app, and you will see the game shortcut added to your device home screen.
5. Tap on the game shortcut to instantly launch the game.

iOS

1. Visit the detail page for any game.
2. Tap the three dots (...) icon next to the Play button.
3. Tap Add to Home Screen and confirm.
4. You will be redirected to your mobile browser.
5. Tap the Share button to open the Share sheet.
6. Tap Add to Home Screen and confirm.
7. Exit the Roblox app, and you will see the game shortcut added to your device home screen.
8. Tap on the game shortcut to instantly launch the game.

PC

1. Visit the detail page for any game.
2. Click on the three dots (...) icon next to the Play button.
3. Click Add to Desktop.
4. A notification banner will appear confirming that the shortcut was successfully created.
5. Go to your computer's desktop and double-click the game shortcut to instantly launch the game.

Troubleshooting

We are introducing game shortcuts to mobile users on a rolling basis. If you don’t see the option yet, please check again later. As a reminder, please make sure your device has the latest version of Roblox installed. The availability of game shortcuts varies by device manufacturer and for certain devices, you may need to enable the Home screen shortcuts permission for Roblox in your OS settings.
