What is a Right to Access Report?
A Right to Access Report is a file you can request from Roblox under data privacy laws. It includes the personal information Roblox has collected and linked to your account, such as account details, login history, and payment history. This report helps you review the types of data associated with your account.
How do I request a Right to Access Report?
To request a Right to Access Report, log in to your Roblox account, go to your Roblox privacy settings, and select the Request option for Request Account Data under Account data, deactivation & deletion. Roblox will then process your request and prepare your report. To protect your information, we may verify your identity before preparing your report. You must have a verified email address on your account. If you are unable to make a request this way, you can reach out to Roblox for assistance through the support form.
Where will I see my Right to Access Report? How do I download my Right to Access Report?
Once your report is ready, Roblox will send you a message to your Roblox account’s messages inbox and the verified email address saved to your account. Follow the link to open your Right to Access report.
Does the download link to my Right to Access Report expire?
Yes, the download link to your Right to Access Report will expire 7 days after it is sent to you. After that time, if you still need access to your data, you will need to submit a new request.
Can I select a time period when requesting my Right to Access Report?
No, you cannot select a specific time period for your data when making a Right to Access request. Roblox will provide you with the personal information and data that Roblox associates with your account.
Why are some data types stored against my account after I have requested deletion of my Roblox account?
Even after you request deletion of your Roblox account, certain data may still be stored for a period of time. This can happen if Roblox is required to keep records for tax, legal, or security purposes. You can request a copy of your Right to Access Report even if you have requested deletion of your Roblox account through the Roblox support page.
Why do I not see data that I think should be in my Right to Access Report?
Your Right to Access Report will only include your own personal information. It does not include the personal information of other users. If you think some of your own data is missing from the report, it may be because Roblox is no longer processing the data, or it has been deleted from our systems. If you have questions about what is in your report, please reach out to Roblox.
