You can create your own avatar items, like hats, hair, clothing and full avatar bodies, and sell them on the Marketplace. Players sometimes call these UGC items.
Make an item
Most avatar items start as a mesh, which is a 3D shape. You make the mesh in a 3D art program, such as Blender. Then you bring it into Roblox Studio, which helps you turn it into an avatar item.
For step-by-step guides, see Monetize avatar assets on the Creator Hub.
Sell your item
To sell avatar items, your account must meet the creator requirements. For example, you need to verify your account, or link it to a parent's account. Some steps also cost Robux.
Your item must also follow the Marketplace policy and the Roblox Community Standards. Only sell items you made yourself, or items you have permission to sell.
When someone buys your item, you earn Robux. To learn how much you earn, see Marketplace fees and commissions.
You can also sell avatar items inside games. See In-game sales.
