As a Roblox Plus subscriber, you can send Robux to other users instantly and for free.
Sending and Receiving Eligibility
To send Robux, users must be subscribed to Roblox Plus. Users do not need to be subscribed to receive a transfer.
Additionally, users must complete the following age requirements before sending or receiving Robux:
- 16+: Users must complete an Age Check
-
Under 16: Users must have a linked parent account. To help keep transfers secure, parent or caregiver approval is required every time younger users send or receive Robux.
- Please note that certain regions continue to require parental approval for users under 18 due to local regulations. This change is part of our effort to reduce friction for personal gifting while maintaining safety.
Sending Robux
Robux transfers can be started from multiple locations:
- The recipient's user profile
- The Buy Robux page
To send Robux:
- Enter amount and select Continue.
- Review the details of the transfer.
- Select Send.
Important: All transfers are final and cannot be reversed. Only send Robux to people you know and be cautious of scams.
For users under 16, additional confirmation from a linked parent account is required:
- A prompt will appear to Ask your parent to review this transfer.
- The linked parent account must then approve the pending transfer.
- Parent Approval: The transfer is processed and Robux will be sent
- Parent Rejection: The transfer is immediately canceled
- Some regions require parental approval for users under 18 due to local regulations. See Sending and Receiving Eligibility.
How much Robux can I send?
To help keep transfers safe, there are transfer limits of up to 500 Robux a day and 1000 Robux a month - which are subject to change. Users with 2-Step Verification enabled and in good standing are eligible for an increased transfer limit of 5,000 Robux a day and 10,000 Robux a month. Additionally, parent or caregiver approval is required every time users under 16 send or receive Robux. Some regions require parental approval for users under 18 due to local regulations. See Sending and Receiving Eligibility.
If you reach these limits, you will receive a pop-up message letting you know that you've reached your limits.
How do I cancel a transfer?
Once you send Robux, you cannot reverse or cancel the transfer. Always make sure you know the person you are sending Robux to. Be cautious of scams or requests from unknown individuals. Roblox will never ask you to send Robux to another user to verify your account or for any other reason.
Receiving Robux
To accept a Robux transfer:
- Users will receive a notification that a transfer is pending.
- Select Accept on the notification.
- Once completed, the Robux will be added to your balance instantly. You can check the transfer status in My Transactions.
For users under 16, additional confirmation from a linked parent account is required:
- A prompt will appear to Ask your parent to review this transfer.
- The linked parent account must then approve the pending transfer.
- Parent Approval: The transfer is processed and Robux will be delivered instantly
- Parent Rejection: The transfer is immediately canceled
- To help keep transfers secure, Parent accounts must approve or reject every incoming transfer for users under 16.

How can I reject a transfer?
A transfer is rejected and the Robux will be returned to the sender when:
- Parent account is not linked within 7 days of receiving the transfer
- Parent account declines the transfer
- Receiver does not accept transfer
What happens if I receive Robux but have not completed the age requirements?
If the age requirements are not met within 7 days of the transfer, the transfer will be canceled and the Robux will be returned to the sender. Transferred Robux will be put on hold until completed. You will see the held amount in the Pending Robux section of My Transactions until the requirements are completed.
Can I convert my transferred Robux into real money?
No. All transfers received are not eligible for the DevEx program. When receiving Robux, you can only spend the transferred Robux on items within Roblox.
